The Parco delle Gola della Breggia is located in the Mendrisiotto region, along the river Breggia, in the lower part of the Valle di Muggio in Ticino, Switzerland.
The natural landscape is exceptionally interesting, especially for its geological and paleontological patrimony: the rocks that appear on the surface are hundreds of millions years old. It makes this Park one of the most important geological sites in Switzerland. This place is also a treasure of biodiversity, and a silent witness to the local economic and industrial history.
In this video, we share the beauties we experienced on the day we spent there. If you want to see this place in person, here are some helpful links and tips to help you plan your trip:
The entrance is free, and it's open 24x7.
